Christmas Shopping
I have some friends that are still paying for Christmas gifts they sent out last year. The new shopping season is less than six months away and I have already started saving my money. I have learned that my credit cards only get me deeper in debt. This year, every gift I buy will be bought with cash. I have also bought some gifts earlier in the year. I take advantage of Memorial Day Sales and other holiday sales to buy Christmas gifts. I have also shortened my list. There will be a lot more cards mailed out and a lot less gifts being handed out. I know an elderly couple that lives alone and do not have a home security system. I checked out allhomesecurity.com and I will buy an affordable system for them. They have one son but he lives far away. My parents live far away so we have adopted each other. They come over for dinner and my husband and I go over there to help them out. My kids love them because they know they can get all of the candy they want when they are over there visiting.
